In short, we don't have an answer. Our parliament is presently prorogued, meaning the ruling party (the red one) has essentially paused governing. The intention is to resume on March 24th, after the party selects a new leader. The selection is set for March 9th, unless they decide otherwise.
When parliament gets back, it's pretty likely the government won't stick around for long before losing a confidence vote or just breaking up. This is especially the case if the new leader, who's also the new Prime Minister, doesn't have a seat in the House of Commons.
Basically, we're saying "We don't know," but the election will likely start soon after March 24th and go on for a month or more. So, we're looking at late April or early May for the election.
As soon as we have more information, we'll update it here. The media will eagerly inform us too. Good luck to us all!
